Opt-Out

Sometimes bold action is needed to make a message heard. Join us as we come together to tell the district that we will not be ignored—and we will not be scattered to other schools. Valencia is unique, and it matters.

On May 15th, we are choosing not to attend school. We understand that schools lose funding when students are absent. Valencia loses $91 each time a student is out. To address this, the Home & School Club will be collecting donations. You can contribute to cover your own child, support another family, or give what you can—no one will be left out. The goal is full participation, because the stronger our turnout, the stronger our message. All funds raised will go back directly to our school to help offset the impact. Please notate “opt out” when you make your donation.

PVUSD has invested significant time and resources into its “All In” campaign. Choosing to opt out, even for one day, sends a clear and powerful message that our community expects to be heard.
